This op-ed compares the older Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga (BB1826) that launched in 2016. Wildly popular, this 2016 edition was a limited release, making the real product harder to authenticate than its newer 2.0 version. 

Inside Label - the adidas logo on the lower left corner remains the same on both old and new labels. Each letter should be separate with the registered trademark symbol just above, but not touching, the "s". The shoe size numbers "270" under "CHN" and "280" under JP do not go past the letters on the real label. The "9" under US is flushed and aligns with the centre of the letter "U".

The "M" in "Made In China" is also aligned with the centre of the "U" in "US" underneath it. Similarly, "A" corresponds with the centre of the "N" in "CHN". If you look at the arrow indicating 06/16 on the real label, you will see how the number "0" neatly aligns with the last number ("8") of the product code below it. The date on the replica label is not aligned this way with its product code.

Back of insole - a key differentiating marker is how three dimensional the "adidas" logo looks. The back of replica insoles tend to look wrinkled and flat overall, with a blurry registered trademark symbol near the adidas logo. Real insoles are smooth, and do not look like a shoe mold. 

Almost each Yeezy Boost 350 V2 features unique craftsmanship, from the insole to shoe logo and heel. This particular replica insole is impeccable. Each Yeezy colorway has different characteristics, and the stitching usually mirrors the color of its insole material.

In this case, the real insole is grey, smooth, with short stitches. The Boost symbol is a white circle with no corners. While there are some oval Boost symbols out there, they are usually almost transparent and polished with no wrinkles or bumps. If the white Boost circle has corners or obvious metal stamping, it is likely a replica. Insoles tend to come in white color, white with a tinge of yellow, or in black.
