If you believe the Authentication Certificate result provided by LegitApp is incorrect, you may protect your rights through the following process:

You can contact our customer support team at support@legitapp.com to request a re-evaluation. Upon receiving your request, we will conduct a first-round re-assessment. If the re-evaluation result matches the original result, we will reply and notify you; if the re-evaluation finds the original result to be incorrect (i.e., the results are inconsistent), we will directly initiate the financial guarantee process for you.

If you remain unsatisfied with the Phase 1 re-evaluation result, you may formally initiate a dispute application by contacting the customer support team. You will need to fill in all required information and pay a $200.00 USD dispute handling fee. After reviewing your application, our team will provide further updates and shipping address guidelines. At that time, you must ship the physical item to our designated office or warehouse for physical authentication. Please note that LegitApp will not bear any shipping costs, taxes (including customs duties), or any other related fees incurred during the entire logistics and shipping process.

• Result A: Original Result Upheld

  The dispute will be rejected. The $200.00 USD dispute handling fee is non-refundable (used to cover labor and administrative costs). If the final authentication result confirms the item is Authentic, the item will be returned to you. If the item is ultimately determined to be a Replica, in compliance with intellectual property protection and anti-counterfeiting laws and regulations, LegitApp will confiscate, destroy, or hand over the item to law enforcement/the brand, and it cannot be returned to you. By initiating a dispute, you explicitly agree that if the item is determined to be a Replica, you voluntarily waive all ownership rights and any form of claim rights to the item, and LegitApp shall not bear any financial compensation or legal liability for the confiscation or destruction of the item.

• Result B: Original Result Overturned (Original Result Incorrect)

  We will fully refund your $200.00 USD dispute handling fee and formally initiate the financial guarantee process. Depending on the specific circumstances, LegitApp reserves the right to retain the item or return it to you. If the item is ultimately determined to be a Replica, in compliance with intellectual property protection and anti-counterfeiting laws and regulations, LegitApp will confiscate, destroy, or hand over the item to law enforcement/the brand, and it cannot be returned to you. By initiating a dispute, you explicitly agree that if the item is determined to be a Replica, you voluntarily waive all ownership rights and any form of claim rights to the item, and LegitApp shall not bear any financial compensation or legal liability for the confiscation or destruction of the item.

• Eligibility: Only the individual or entity listed as the certificate holder on the LegitApp Authentication Certificate can initiate a dispute. The certificate holder must provide valid proof of ownership for the disputed item.
• Item Consistency (Anti-Tampering): The physical item sent for dispute must perfectly match the photos, data, and detailed characteristics from the original authentication submission. If it is discovered that the shipped physical item is not the same as the originally authenticated item (i.e., suspected bait-and-switch), the dispute will be immediately rejected, fees will not be refunded, and LegitApp reserves the right to permanently ban the account and pursue legal liability.
• Item Condition Requirements: The disputed item must remain in the exact same condition as when the original authentication was completed. If the item has been altered, repaired, or suffered any human-caused damage after the original authentication, this financial guarantee will automatically become void.
• Anti-Counterfeit Tag Integrity: If the originally authenticated item was attached with LegitApp's official anti-counterfeit seal or tag, this seal/tag must remain completely unremoved and undamaged when initiating the dispute and shipping the physical item. Any broken, cut, or tampered anti-counterfeit seal/tag will result in the immediate invalidation of the financial guarantee.

• Fee Disclaimer: The financial guarantee only covers compensation for the value of the item itself and does not cover any other indirect losses or expenses incurred by you or your customers. LegitApp will not bear any shipping costs, taxes (including customs duties), or any other related fees incurred during the entire logistics process.
• Shipping Risks & Insurance: The user bears all risks of loss, theft, or damage during the entire logistics process of sending the item to LegitApp's designated address and LegitApp returning the item to the user. We strongly recommend that users purchase full shipping insurance from the logistics company themselves when shipping high-value items.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LegitApp and its affiliates, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or loss of data), regardless of whether the claim is based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory. LegitApp's maximum cumulative liability under this policy shall in no event exceed the compensation limit expressly stipulated in this policy (i.e., $2,000 USD or the higher of the total consumption amount for the current month).

• Valid Proof: A valid proof of purchase must clearly show the amount paid, be able to clearly identify the disputed item, and confirm that the certificate holder is the purchaser.
• Payment Method: Financial guarantee payments will be made via Wire Transfer. For foreign currency transactions, the financial guarantee payment will be made in US Dollars (USD), based on the real-time exchange rate at the time of payment. Any bank handling fees or intermediary bank fees incurred due to cross-border wire transfers will be deducted from the total compensation amount (or borne by the payee).
• Tax Liability: Any and all taxes (including but not limited to income tax) arising from receiving LegitApp's financial guarantee payment shall be borne and declared by the payee (user). LegitApp is not responsible for withholding or paying any related taxes.

• Non-Transferability: The LegitApp Authentication Certificate and the related financial guarantee are only valid for the original certificate holder and cannot be transferred to any third party.
• Guarantee Validity Period: The validity period of the financial guarantee is within 90 days from the completion date of the original authentication. Overdue applications will not be accepted.
• Final Decision: The result provided by the LegitApp dispute resolution process is the final result.
• Fraud & Abuse Prevention: LegitApp strictly prohibits any form of fraud or abuse of the Financial Guarantee Policy. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is maliciously initiating disputes, forging purchase proofs, manipulating market prices, or colluding with other entities to commit insurance fraud, LegitApp reserves the right to unilaterally refuse compensation, confiscate the disputed item and hand it over to law enforcement agencies, and take further legal action.
• Right of Interpretation: Legit App Limited / Legit App Inc. reserves the sole right to interpret and apply this Financial Guarantee Policy. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or application of this policy shall be resolved independently by Legit App Limited / Legit App Inc. No individual or entity may raise any other claims related to this policy against Legit App Inc.
• Right to Modify Policy: LegitApp reserves the right to unilaterally modify, update, or terminate this Financial Guarantee Policy at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the LegitApp official website or application. Your continued use of our authentication services constitutes your acceptance of the modified policy. Disputes will be subject to the latest version of the policy at the time the dispute is initiated.
• Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution: The interpretation, validity, and dispute resolution of this policy shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding the application of conflict of law principles. For any dispute arising from or related to this policy, both parties shall first attempt to resolve it through amicable negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party agrees to submit the dispute to the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for exclusive jurisdiction. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the user explicitly agrees to waive the right to participate in any form of class action or representative action, either as a representative or as a member of a class action.
• Force Majeure: LegitApp shall not be liable for any breach of contract if LegitApp is delayed or unable to perform its compensation obligations under this policy due to natural disasters, wars, strikes, cyberattacks, government actions, banking system failures, or other force majeure events beyond LegitApp's reasonable control.
