The date is embossed into a leather tab near an inside seam. The silver hologram has its own six-character code; it is a different system.
How to read the result
The first digit pair is reported as season 01–04 and the second as a year. Remaining pairs are not publicly decoded. Holograms on a card and bag can be compared with each other, but should not be compared with the leather date code.
A code is only part of the picture
These tools interpret selected public code conventions. They cannot confirm ownership, registration, materials, manufacturing quality or authenticity. Formats change, vintage pieces differ, and a code outside the covered reference is not automatically counterfeit.
